Many flower shows and garden displays are annual events held at more or less the same time each year. Here are some of the more popular ones in our area.

Arezzo: Roseto Botanico Fineschi a Cavriglia
Vast collection of roses. Open every day from early May until the last Sunday in June
Assisi: Quando fiorirano le rose
Late May there will usually be a preview of new David Austin roses
Firenze: Irises
International Iris competition with views across Firenze. Open every day during the first three weeks of May
Cortona: Iris di Cortona
Private Iris collection, many prize-winners bred by the owner himself.
Niccone: Iris Umbria
Private collection of over 650 varieties of Tall Bearded Iris
Todi: Todi Fiorita, flower show in the main piazza in early May
